EVENT OUTLINE
Arrivals
Party guests are welcome, waivers are checked and the group is seated. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation to set up decorations and tables.
Orientations & Instructions
We provide an overview of the event, reviewing house rules. Then we harness everyone and provide a quick demo with climbing instructions. During this time we will also teach participants over the age of 13 how to hold the ropes for the climbers (belay).
Climbing
Everyone gets to climb with our fully trained staff belayers for 1.5 hrs. We’ll try different walls and enjoy various challenges and games!
Food
We have awesome discounts with local Davis Businesses. Woodstock’s Pizza offers a 15% discount to all Rocknasium parties! Davis Creamery offers special cupcake and ice cream packages starting at $35! All groups are also welcome to cater in any food of their choosing.
TEAMBUILDING

We offer a unique set of courses that focus on the cooperative element found in climbing. Our Team Building Workshops are ideal supplements to management training programs and as group “ice breakers.”
The challenges in our workshops emphasize the need for working together within a larger group and/or with a partner. The activities presented highlight skills essential to group cohesiveness.
We can always tailor our courses to your group’s size and needs.
A general course consists of:
- Climbing with belay instruction
- Climbing based teambuilding challenges
- A debrief, exploring what group development occurred and how that relates to the groups dynamic
Includes ALL equipment, experienced staff instructors, event space with picnic tables, and discounts to local food!
